InternTextron Systems serves defense and commercial customers with a wide range of specialized products and services. The intern in Procurement will participate in mandatory meetings, gain exposure to inventory management and purchasing functions, and collaborate on various projects to improve procurement processes.

Responsibilities
Participate in mandatory procurement meetings
Gain exposure to our Inventory Management Process, Quality Improvement Processes, and Value Stream Improvement Process
Understand the purchasing function
Managing PO dates
Provide Documentation of indirect Spend Purchases and competing expense reports
RRQ project for a Contract Management Tool
Partner with the supplier quality engineering intern on supplier rationalization project
Gain exposure to executive management
Qualification
Required
Student should be engaged in the pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. materials, integrated supply chain or related degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
