Responsibilities
Ensuring that employees operate in an environment that complies with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
Coordinating suppliers' delivery plans for projects
Managing the material work package, providing QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments
Calculating workload, defining priorities, and implementing development plans for the team
Being responsible for the physical inventory accuracy, applying Alstom rules in terms of counting
Ensuring the integrity of data needed to run efficient MRP (Material Resource Planning)
Providing reporting to management for various supply chain KPIs
Representing the company in front of customers for audits or action plan presentations and follow-ups
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar experience required (Bachelor Degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of recognized experience in managing Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehouse operations (or Military Depot environment), with comfort working in a 24/7 operation
Leadership: minimum 5 years of direct supervisory/people-management experience; strong people skills and proven ability to coach and retain staff - providing encouragement, and supporting people in accepting responsibility with accountability
Technical: Experience with SAP-based systems or similar WMS (GSI preferred); ability to write procedures and conduct audits/inspections
Familiarity with supplier relationships management and material needs scheduling
Empowerment: Creates an environment where individuals actively take initiative and ownership
Operational effectiveness: Executes and delivers – Identifies critical tasks and resources necessary to achieve desired objectives, takes action to ensure execution, delivery, and follow-up
Risk management: Provides early warnings as soon as unforeseen problems arise, ensuring timely corrective action can be taken
Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders
