They are seeking an Accounting Clerk responsible for providing accounting support to financial accountants and managers, including daily bank reconciliations and vendor maintenance.
Transportation
Responsibilities
Daily bank reconciliations for all entities
Initiate wire payments
Vendor maintenance in accounting system
Post cash deposits
Research and resolve AP issues
Research and resolve payment issues on customer accounts
Backup for Accounts payable processor
Complete special projects assigned by the Manager or Controller
Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Controller
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience working with accounting software programs
Data entry and 10-key skills
Attention to detail
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong aptitude in logic, reasoning, problem solving and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Self-starter and team player
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work occasional overtime in order to meet deadlines
Excellent communications skills and customer service-oriented focus
Good and regular attendance
Ability to work in a variety of situations
