Responsibilities
Define and drive the target-state architecture for LMS platforms used for regulatory and compliance communications
Strong hands-on experience in Data warehouse architecture, Azure Synapse design, Data modelling, System migration strategies, Performance & scalability design Regulatory/compliance systems (bonus) with SQL Server and Azure Synapse / Azure SQL DW
Lead migration of rule engine and letter/ document logic from LMS (SQL Server) into Azure Synapse / Azure SQL DW
Reduce cross-system data movement while maintaining traceability and auditability of regulatory letters
Simplify and standardize letter trigger design to improve development throughput and reduce deployment risks
Ensure EDW acts as a controlled and auditable source of data for letter generation
Partner with compliance, business, and analytics teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met
Identify architectural gaps impacting delivery timelines, performance, or compliance readiness
Provide technical guidance for production support and future enhancements
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, data platforms, or system modernization
Strong experience with MS SQL Server and Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure SQL DW
Experience designing systems that support regulatory, audit, or compliance requirements
Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Ability to work across multiple teams and systems
Preferred
Experience with Letter Management Systems or document generation platforms
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
Familiarity with Azure data services and orchestration tools
