Responsibilities

Proactively identify and engage prospective customers through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and event follow-ups
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria (business need, urgency, fit, and buying authority)
Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, initiatives, and technology environments
Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings for Account Executives and solution specialists
Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data within IBM CRM systems
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align messaging and account strategies
Stay informed on IBM products, solutions, and industry trends to deliver relevant value-based conversations
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline generation targets

Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage senior-level stakeholders in professional, consultative conversations
Highly organized with strong time management and follow-up skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

Preferred

Experience selling or prospecting into enterprise or mid-market accounts
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar)
Interest in technology, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise software
Prior experience in an onsite or hybrid sales environment
