Responsibilities

Manage transportation construction contracts in the field for ODOT and OTA projects
Issue and process change orders, pay estimates, final estimates, audits, and project closeout documentation
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Prepare scopes of work for transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services based on preliminary reviews and client meetings
Serve as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff
Support business development efforts by acquiring new projects from existing and potential clients
Perform periodic field site visits to support construction oversight and coordination

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma, or ability to obtain licensure within six (6) months
Familiarity with applicable transportation engineering codes, standards, and agency requirements
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to travel to project sites; daily in-state travel of approximately one (1) hour may be required

Preferred

Prior experience with ODOT and/or OTA transportation projects
Experience managing CEI contracts for roadway or transportation infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience mentoring engineering or inspection staff
