Cincinnati Children's is a leading children's hospital dedicated to improving children's health. They are seeking a Financial Advocate II to assist families with complex financial needs, educate them on available resources, and act as a liaison between families and billing teams.

Responsibilities

Assessment, discernment, completion and mastery of entry level resources such as: income-based Medicaid, hospital financial programs and Title V funding
Serve as a direct contact for parents with complex financial needs and billing concerns and work to improve the family's experience
Educate families how to utilize available resources and renew them for chronic care patients
Basic understanding and utilization of hospital billing system
Act as liaison between family, customer service and basic billing teams

NAHAM CHAA certificationHospital billing knowledgeFamily educationLiaison skillsCustomer service

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
NAHAM CHAA certification must be obtained within a year of hire into the role
