The role focuses on developing a product security strategy and ensuring consistent security practices across all products while serving as a security advisor to engineering leadership.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Product Security Engineers to drive measurable product security risk reduction
Develop and execute a product security strategy, setting priorities and managing workloads to ensure consistent security practices across all products
Serve as the primary security advisor to engineering leadership, communicating technical risks in clear, business-focused terms
Build strong cross-functional relationships to embed secure-by-design principles throughout the engineering organization
Oversee secure development lifecycle practices, including threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability prioritization for features, integrations, and platform changes
Manage and mature the product security technology stack (e.g., SAST, SCA, DAST, CI/CD security tooling)
Drive the development of automation and internal tools for efficient security issue detection, triage, and remediation
Ensure the team conducts high-quality manual security reviews such as code analysis, architecture reviews, and targeted penetration testing
Champion security training, secure coding practices, and governance initiatives to foster a culture of engineering accountability and secure development
Align product security activities with organizational risk management goals through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
