NEOGOV is seeking a Seasonal Temporary Customer Service Attendant for Potter Park Zoo. The role involves providing excellent customer service to guests, maintaining a clean work area, and preparing food according to health safety standards.

Responsibilities

Provides excellent customer service to guests
Keeps work area clean and stocked
Counts cash register at beginning and end of shift
Monitors work radio for emergencies and follows all zoo emergency procedures
Informs supervisor of needed supplies, equipment repair, customer service issues and safety concerns
Prepares and stores food to health code safety standards
Prepares reports and tally sheets such as number of daily visitors, parking passes and guest passes
Performs other duties as assigned
Must adhere to departmental standards in regard to HIPAA and other privacy issues

Qualification

Customer serviceBasic math skillsCash handling experienceSafeServ CertificationEffective communication

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must have basic math skills
Demonstrates effective communication skills by engaging, interacting and working with all individuals to ensure clarity and understanding in all interactions

Preferred

Prior cash handling experience preferred
SafeServ Certification preferred
