Responsibilities
Lead the design and evolution of fullstack systems across frontend and backend
Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
Promote high standards in code quality, testing, security, and observability
Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and key design decisions
Mentor and support engineers through continuous feedback and coaching
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support career development and technical growth
Partner with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Lead planning and execution using Agile methodologies
Balance speed and quality in a startup context
Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and workflows
Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their impact
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager in fullstack environments
Strong frontend expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
Solid backend experience with Golang and/or Python
Experience designing APIs and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures
Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Native or fluent English
Preferred
Spanish is a plus
Experience working in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial platforms is a plus
