Responsibilities
Take on exciting engineering assignments while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals with varying backgrounds and expertise
Provide expert engineering and planning services to a variety of clients, ranging from city, state, and federal government agencies to private sector clients
Assist with marketing pursuits in concert with Project Manager, Pond Leadership, and our Marketing team
Serve as Roadway Key Technical Lead (KTL) as needed in proposals
Engage in and support internal Quality Control and Quality Assurance Program
Work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Qualification
Required
BS in an accredited Transportation/Civil Engineering program
PE License is required; PTOE preferred
Experience with traffic analysis and reporting is important along with the ability to apply the Manual-On Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and GDOT Policies and standards
Clear knowledge of the GDOT PDP and LAP processes and requirements
Excellent technical knowledge in Traffic Engineering, including a combination of intersection and corridor analysis, traffic simulation, traffic forecasting, safety analysis, signal timing, ICE analysis, and report writing/documentation
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical individuals
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Preferred
10+ years of experience in traffic engineering is preferred
PTOE preferred
Certifications in GDOT PDP and LAP processes preferred
