Responsibilities
Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from ideation, research, and prototyping to testing and commercialization
Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis into product roadmaps
Oversee cross-functional teams (design, engineering, R&D, marketing) to ensure alignment with business goals
Approve product specifications, materials, and design direction
Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and compliance standards
Lead production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization
Oversee manufacturing operations (internal or outsourced), ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost control
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Manage vendor relationships, sourcing strategies, and supply chain performance
Ensure on-time delivery and resolve production bottlenecks
Develop annual budgets for production and product development
Monitor KPIs such as cost of goods sold (COGS), yield, throughput, and product performance
Evaluate ROI for new product initiatives and manage product lifecycle profitability
Support long-term business planning and innovation strategy
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing production and product development teams
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence
Collaborate with executive leadership to align product and production strategies with company objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Business, or related field
4–8+ years of experience in product development, production, or project management
Experience with domestic and international manufacturing environments
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience with chlorine generation, chlorine generator equipment, chlor-alkali industry or similar background
