Responsibilities

Managing the Director's Action Group for the Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Space Access
Performing extensive staff work, possibly as a former wing or higher-level Executive Officer
Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and ability to establish rapport and lasting work relationships
Managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Developing and executing comprehensive communication plans that align with organizational goals
Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions
Gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing complex information to identify problems and develop solutions

Required

Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance
Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis
Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed 'Unscheduled Telework'
Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments
This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program
The candidate must be certified as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of appointment
Background should include performing extensive staff work, perhaps a former wing or higher-level Executive Officer, DAG/CAG experience
Exceptional organizational skills & ability to establish rapport and lasting/effective work relationships
Proven track record of being a SME in Executive support
Advanced knowledge of task management principles, including prioritization techniques, delegation strategies, and workflow optimization
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate information to diverse audiences
Strong understanding of strategic communication principles and best practices
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders
Comprehensive knowledge of contract management principles, regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS), and best practices
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information
