Open Rank Professor (Tenure-Track/Tenured) in Biomedical Engineering Quantitative Systems Pharmacology
The University of Delaware is inviting applications for a tenure-track/tenured professor in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Quantitative Systems Pharmacology. The role involves research, teaching, and service, particularly serving as Director of the new M.S. program in QSP, aimed at preparing students for model-informed drug development.

Serve as Director of the new M.S. program in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology
Perform research in Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) and teach classes in QSP at the graduate level
May also teach undergraduate classes in related subjects
Support program growth and development through innovative industry engagement and/or research
Increase visibility and reputation in the area of QSP
Use network to facilitate relationship building with pharmaceutical companies, QSP professional societies, and the FDA
Teach existing QSP classes and develop new classes
Build research portfolio in QSP
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree in engineering or a related field relevant to QSP
Demonstrated leadership/administrative experience
Ability to perform research in QSP
Ability to teach classes in QSP at the graduate level
Ability to teach undergraduate classes in related subjects
Support program growth and development through innovative industry engagement and/or research
Experience in administrative roles, program or initiative development, and industry engagement
Preferred
Experience in building relationships with pharmaceutical companies, QSP professional societies, and the FDA
Experience in increasing visibility and reputation in the area of QSP
Ability to teach existing QSP classes and develop new classes
Ability to build research portfolio in QSP
