Responsibilities
Assisting with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive reports and analysis
Participating in court conferences, depositions, and hearings as appropriate
Managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with client guidelines
Maintaining accurate time records and billing entries
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting
Admission to practice in New York is required (additional bar admissions in NJ, CT, or PA are a plus)
Strong writing and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented demeanor
Preferred
Exposure to professional liability, product liability, or appellate work is a plus but not required
Federal court or appellate experience is a plus, but not required
