Responsibilities
Design, develop, and program robotic systems using Robot programming, and distributed control systems to optimize manufacturing processes
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on automation equipment to minimize downtime and improve system reliability
Create detailed schematics and blueprints using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for new automation projects or modifications
Integrate vision inspection systems and other sensors to enhance quality control measures
Develop and implement programs for programmable logic controllers to automate machinery and processes
Collaborate with mechanical teams on tooling, machining, and mechanical integration of automation components
Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation in accordance with CGMP guidelines
Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting mechanical issues related to automation equipment
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce waste through automation improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working with robotics systems such as Fanuc or similar brands
Strong knowledge of robot programming, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and AutoCAD or SolidWorks design tools
Hands-on experience with vision inspection systems, tooling development, machining processes, and mechanical integration
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis techniques, and distributed control systems
Mechanical knowledge applicable to manufacturing environments including schematics reading and troubleshooting mechanical components
Prior experience in a manufacturing setting involving automation system design or maintenance
