Responsibilities
Collaborates with business units to optimize strategic sourcing efforts, TCO (total cost of ownership) analysis and develop host-country-specific negotiation and pricing strategies for new projects to achieve optimal value
Prepare and execute RFP/RFI in conjunction with internal business partners in the area of construction services and related commodity groups
Leads meetings related to competitive analysis and competitive market place for constructions services and related commodity groups
Identifies long term sourcing strategy for theme park services and related commodity groups that can be used globally and nationwide. Also identifies critical long term issues that could affect the planning and decision-making process
Hosts periodic meetings with suppliers and business partners to review project performance, procure to pay (P2P) opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
Demonstrate Exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree is required
5-7 years' of experience in strategic sourcing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Intermediate to strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
Ability to communicate effectively though various levels of management
Demonstrate Exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
Preferred
Master's degree
Occasional travel may be required
