Responsibilities
Manage staff and oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger
Analyze construction jobs in progress for timing and accurate reporting & billing
Administer Human Resources including all benefit programs, employee communications, and statutory compliances
Manage company commercial insurance policies and act as the liaison with insurance brokers
Provide support and financial information to Project Management Team and company executives
Oversee office staff to ensure the office runs smoothly
Qualification
Required
BA or BS in accounting or related field preferred
Experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
Hands on experience with construction accounting platforms (Sage 100 Contractor, Textura, Procore etc.)
Understanding construction industry practices and job costing, including AIA and T&M billing
Experience with payroll software and HR administration
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Microsoft Office product knowledge
