Advising fund sponsors and investors on the formation and structuring of venture capital and private equity funds
Providing tax counsel on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint venture arrangements
Drafting and negotiating fund documentation and related tax provisions
Counseling clients on ongoing fund operations and transactional tax issues
Managing several concurrent matters while delivering practical, business-focused solutions
Collaborating closely with partners and multidisciplinary teams to support complex, high-profile transactions
Qualification
Required
J.D. from a nationally recognized law school
4+ years of tax experience representing fund sponsors and investors
Strong background in venture fund and private equity fund formation
Experience advising on fund formations, investments, and joint ventures
Excellent analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple ongoing matters simultaneously
High level of motivation, initiative, and client-focused professionalism
