Law Practice
Responsibilities
Draft and prepare estate planning, probate, and guardianship documents, including the use of WealthCounsel or similar drafting platforms
Assist attorneys throughout the client process, from intake through document execution and follow up
Guide and support paralegal and administrative staff by delegating tasks and answering questions as needed
Help coordinate workflows, timelines, and completion of projects across matters
Support attorneys by helping ensure cases remain organized and progress efficiently
Maintain organized and accurate client files and documentation
Communicate with clients in a professional, compassionate, and timely manner
Track deadlines and assist with filings and administrative submissions as needed
Review documents for accuracy and completeness
Contribute to efficient case flow and consistent internal processes
Qualification
Required
Probate: 3 years (Required)
Estate planning: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
Experience with Medicaid (Preferred)
Five or more years of paralegal experience preferred, with strong exposure to estate planning, probate, and guardianships
Familiarity with WealthCounsel or similar drafting software, or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
Proficiency with legal technology and document management systems - CLIO preferred but not required
Medicaid application experience is a plus, but not required
