Responsibilities

Timely & accurate preparation of monthly journal entries
Analysis of transportation & storage contracts for proper recording of revenue per ASC 606
Analyze and explain monthly, quarterly and year-to-date income statement variances
Preparation & presentation of monthly close meeting schedules
Ensure Internal Controls compliance
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Timely completion of monthly, quarterly & annual regulatory reporting including State, FERC and EIA
Timely completion of audit requests from both internal & external auditors
Participate in periodic system testing
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years of experience
Natural gas pipeline gas cost experience is highly desired
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) & Adobe
Highly analytical and detail oriented with ability to analyze complex issues
Team player with the ability to work independently, with other departments & with peers
Ability to readily take direction from supervisor(s)
Strong organizational skills & ability to manage multiple priorities which often may have strict or changing deadlines
Good verbal and written communication skills
Timely & accurate preparation of monthly journal entries
Analysis of transportation & storage contracts for proper recording of revenue per ASC 606
