Responsibilities
Observes, documents, and verifies work in progress by the construction contractor to ensure compliance with contract documents and plans
Confirms procedures are followed and material used conforms to specifications
Utilizes engineering inspection practices to perform standard mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work to date
Maintains Inspector's daily report of assigned work activities, contactor labor and equipment, quantity of material received and verified
Performs on-site material testing and produces as-constructed sketches as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3 years of construction related experience
All required jurisdictional certificates and state requirements
Preferred
Worksite Erosion Control Supervisor
Concrete Testing Certification
