Responsibilities

Lead all phases of the project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout—ensuring disciplined delivery against scope, schedule, and budget
Build, manage, and maintain integrated project plans using Atlassian Jira, including Jira Plans, to manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and cross-team workstreams
Use Jira Plans to provide roadmap visibility, delivery forecasting, and dependency management across multiple initiatives
Leverage Confluence to document project decisions, risks, assumptions, and outcomes, and to support clear, consistent reporting by linking Jira data to stakeholder-facing updates
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and interdependencies, resolving conflicts before they escalate
Design and execute communication and change management plans to support user adoption, training coordination, and organizational readiness
Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, IT teams, and Executive Sponsors, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment through clear expectations, accountability, and effective problem-solving
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring external partners meet delivery expectations and contractual commitments
Coordinate resources, monitor utilization, and forecast capacity needs to support reliable delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the PMO, including enhancements to project management practices, tools, and reporting

Required

5+ years of in-house IT project management experience, with a strong track record delivering software implementations and enterprise system deployments
Experience managing projects that span multiple departments and stakeholder groups within a single organization
Prior experience delivering infrastructure projects is helpful as background, but this role is primarily focused on software and systems delivery
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field preferred; PMP certification a plus
Hands-on experience using Atlassian Jira, including Jira Plans, to build and manage integrated project plans, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps
Experience using Jira and Confluence together to support project governance, documentation, and executive-level reporting
Ability to translate Jira data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders via Confluence and other communication channels

Preferred

Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and guide workstream leads through planning and execution
Experience partnering with Executive stakeholders (CIO, VP level), providing transparent communication on delivery status, risks, and trade-offs
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to anticipate misalignment and address issues early
Expertise in leading effective project meetings, including core team, stakeholder, and retrospective sessions
