Law Practice
Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents
Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and electronic court filings in NC and SC systems
Coordinate discovery and assist with trial preparation
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Track case progress and flag upcoming deadlines or issues
Maintain organized, confidential records across all matters
Qualification
Required
Several years of paralegal experience in civil litigation or general practice
Strong legal drafting, document management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Familiarity with North Carolina court procedures required
Proficiency with electronic filing systems, Microsoft Office, MyCase, and project management tools
Professional judgment, reliability, and attention to detail
Comfort working remotely in a lean firm environment
Preferred
South Carolina court experience is a plus (but not required)
