Ground Segment Hardware Architect

Responsibilities

Leads work with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements on complex multi-tiered projects
Leads analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architectures, hardware designs and interface specifications
Leads testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
Works with other teams to develop program test strategies
Manages performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Conducts program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership
Provides critical support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Leads research into technological advances for potential application to company business needs

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Senior (Level 5) Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of related work experience or 12+ Master's degree and 9+ years of related work experience or PhD with related work experience
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position

Preferred

Experience with network and communications systems
Experienced with Cloud-based and Edge computing systems
Familiarity with Multi-domain security hardware and associated certification efforts
Experience with ground-based mission planning and debrief systems
