The State of Ohio's Environmental Protection Agency is seeking a college intern for the District Operations at their Northeast District Office. The intern will assist with document management duties, including scanning files, performing quality assurance, and indexing documents.

Responsibilities

Assist the Northeast District Office with document management duties and clerical tasks associated with the Agency's electronic document management system (eDoc)
Scan existing files and incoming documents
Perform quality assurance and control of scanned documents
Index files and purge records per the Agency’s document retention schedules

Required

MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE DEGREE PROGRAM DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE POSITION OR HAVE RECENTLY GRADUATED WITHIN THE QUARTER/SEMESTER IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE START DATE
Library and Information Science
Knowledge of safety practices, public relations, Agency policies and procedures and permits as applicable
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Skills in computers (word processing and database work)
SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
