Responsibilities
Oversees the performance of nursing facility cost report audits
Developing and updating audit plans
Supervising audit staff
Assisting in the development, training, and guidance of staff
Assist in the development, training, and guidance of staff in the performance of nursing facility cost audits
Work on and review audits
Ensure final reports are correct, complete, and properly prepared for issuance for those facilities assigned
Monitoring compliance with state and federal laws related to long-term care facilities
Qualification
Required
Good communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Punctual attendance
Able to multi-task
Pay attention to detail
Good leadership skills
Preferred
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-6 years of experience
Accounting courses totaling at least 24 hours are required
Experience in cost reporting
Understanding of financial records
