Responsibilities
Generate monthly invoices for customers
Work customer correspondence to ensure payments are applied to correct invoices
Daily download of deposits received
Posting of all deposits into accounting software
Work exceptions report for any deposits that did not post
Answer incoming calls for billing departments
Collection and maintenance of all paperwork, including referrals, prior authorization forms and cancellation forms
Ensure accuracy of customer demographic information and audit practices
Process payments and credits
Contact customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect outstanding payments
Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts
Stop billing process on cancelled customers and create refunds if necessary
Receive and process mail
Assist customer service group as needed; other tasks as assigned
Executing the Accounting Import of Security Jobs
Monthly processing of Retail, Employee, and Customer Referral Commissions
Reconciliation of corporate bank files to all Credit Card and ACH deposits
Post Commercial ACH payments, as well as Bank Wire payments
Work all Chargebacks and Z-Transactions, including compiling and submitting a rebuttal to reverse the disputes
Other duties as assigned by the Billing Manager
Qualification
Required
Finance, Accounting, or Billing Experience – minimum 1 year
High School diploma or GED required
Must be PC literate with some familiarity with MS Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
