Event Coordinator
Grand Hyatt San Diego is a prestigious hotel located in the heart of downtown San Diego, known for its exceptional service and extensive event space. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for servicing events, working closely with Event Sales Managers, and ensuring high-quality service through effective communication and planning.

Servicing events
Working closely with Event Sales Managers in contract negotiations and servicing accounts
Menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services
Facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff
Assisting in hosting site inspections as needed
Participating and/or leading event meetings and other staff meetings
Qualification
Required
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Preferred
Prefer a four year hospitality degree or equivalent experience
Prefer 18 months hotel experience
Geographically mobile
