Start in 2026 SummerStantec is a leading design and consulting firm, and they are seeking a Geospatial Survey Intern for their San Antonio office. The intern will assist field crews and survey managers with various surveying and mapping projects, including performing field surveys and preparing survey reports.

Responsibilities
Perform field surveys as a member of Stantec field crews, including control, topo, drainage, and utility surveys
Performing maintenance of traffic and safety protocols
Process Field notes and field data
Preparing Survey reports
Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents
Qualification
Required
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong interest in community development engineering disciplines
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
Ability to work independently
Must have a vehicle, good driving record, and valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years of age
At minimum, a high school diploma is required
Preferred
Basic understanding of AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
