InternXPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, and they are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern. The intern will assist in forecasting, budgeting cycles, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to senior leadership presentations.

Responsibilities
Have the opportunity to work with this professional team in critical areas like forecasting, and monthly operating reviews
Participate in a 12-week program where you will assist in ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating recurring reporting and analysis, and gain exposure to presentations with senior leadership
Prepare and distribute weekly / monthly financial reports, including P&L analysis, KPIs, and executive‑ready summaries
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting cycles, including model updates, data validation, and variance analysis
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and deep‑dive investigations
Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand operational drivers and validate assumptions
Develop and enhance tools, dashboards, and models for improved accuracy, visibility, and efficiency
Identify risks and opportunities, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights
Support continuous improvement efforts across forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and data processes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
2 or more years of relevant coursework
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Preferred
Education toward a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
High energy work style with a strong drive to succeed
Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as needed
