Responsibilities
Supervise monthly general ledger reconciliations of assigned GL accounts
Ensure timely preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; assist outside CPA firm for audit purposes
Oversee, monitor, and improve accounting procedures relating to areas of responsibility, including ERP
Assist in identification of cost control areas, revenue and margin generation to improve bottom line performance
Assist Operations with establishment and adherence to cash management and loss prevention policies
Manage, train, and develop team of retail accountants and analysts; delegate duties to meet departmental goals
Perform ongoing and special ad hoc operational and accounting reports
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and drive continuous improvement and process standardization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree in Accounting or CPA desired but not required
5+ years of functional and operational accounting experience
+ years of supervisory experience across accounting and/or finance functions
Strong financial analysis, research, and technical accounting skills
Preferred
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Technical accounting capacity
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication capability
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
