Responsibilities
Set up sandbox/test environment
Configure user accounts and roles, including Technicians, User Groups, and Support Groups
Configure incoming/outgoing email settings and enable SSO
Define Product Types, Regions, Sites, Departments, Operational Hours, and Holidays
Import users from Active Directory or CSV files
Explain Technician Scheduler functionality
Configure workflows and schedule periodic audits
Manage hardware inventory, including detailed asset tracking
Implement remote control tools, including barcode scanners
Apply best practices for Asset Management tailored to business needs
Demonstrate and configure default and custom reports
Customize dashboards and schedule reports; provide query report explanations
Administer Asset Explorer application: backup scheduling, archiving, portal settings, helpdesk customizations
Provide guidance on troubleshooting and system optimization
Qualification
Required
Hands-on expertise with ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Cloud – AssetExplorer
Experience configuring and deploying IT Hardware Asset Management tools
Strong understanding of workflows, asset discovery, and reporting
Ability to advise on best practices and provide implementation guidance
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with IT, procurement, and infrastructure teams
