Responsibilities
Oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems
Performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment
Ensures maintenance and continuous improvement of quality and industry standards
Evaluates mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency
Oversees and implements prescription drug distribution equipment and recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality
Performs and leads tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques
Works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience working in an industrial environment with automated equipment maintenance
Strong sense of urgency on troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime
Excellent project/assignment completion record
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel 10% of the time for educational and related business
Must be willing to work overtime, some weekends and evenings required based on business needs
Must reside in Orlando, or within a commutable distance to the facility
Preferred
Associate Degree
Electrical License
Experience with PLC (Programmable logic controller)
