Responsibilities
Stay up to date on Inventory policy updates
Coordinate with stakeholders in Corp Accounting, Manufacturing Finance and Supply Chain as needed
Ensure policy provides clear guidance on cost pegging and program/customer-owned inventory
Support the Director of SOX Compliance and Internal Controls
Update the Inventory Narrative
Follow-up on any inventory-related control deficiencies and remediation action items, coordinating with SOX Compliance, Internal Audit and appropriate stakeholders
Evaluate the design of the controls and review procedures to address key risks for inventory
Document review procedures and workflow to ensure consistency and effective training and communication of requirements and expectations
Participate in weekly meetings to represent the interests of Corp Accounting
Notify stakeholders of any system updates or issues communicated that could impact policy compliance, reporting, internal controls, or external audit testing requirements
Support any testing or change requirements relevant to Accounting/Finance
Qualification
Required
Big 4 Accounting experience
Inventory and ERP systems experience
SOX Controls/Public Company Experience
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience
