Sr. or Quality Control Coordinator III
Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is committed to ensuring reliable and affordable electricity delivery. They are seeking a Quality Control Coordinator who will support and coordinate quality control activities across Operations, ensuring that processes and documentation are accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and support quality control activities across Operations to ensure accurate, consistent, and defensible processes and documentation
Assist in planning and managing multiple projects, tracking milestones, risks, and action items
Develop and maintain dashboards, tracking tools, and reports to provide visibility to leadership
Analyze operational and compliance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Support the design and continuous improvement of QC processes, procedures, and internal controls
Assist with drafting, updating, and maintaining operational and QC documentation aligned with NERC, FERC, and other governing requirements
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Engineering, Training, and Planning teams
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Quality Control Coordinator III - 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in quality, compliance, operations, project management, or related field
Sr. Quality Control Coordinator- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in quality, compliance, operations, project management, or related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Foundational project management skills (planning, tracking, documentation, coordination)
Effective facilitation skills with the ability to lead or support productive meetings
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset
Ability to interpret governing documentation, including NERC Standards, tariffs, and regulatory requirements, with appropriate guidance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across the organization
Professionalism, integrity, and accountability
Preferred
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for reporting and dashboard development
Exposure to NERC compliance, operations, or regulatory requirements
Experience with evidence management, audit preparation, or internal controls
Experience in a utility, RTO/ISO, or transmission operations environment
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives and collaborating across teams
