Office Manager- ACT Team
JASA is a company focused on providing mental health services, and they are seeking an Office Manager for their ACT Team. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing front office tasks, and ensuring efficient handling of the clinic's revenue cycle.

Responsibilities
Supervises the Receptionist-Scheduler(s) and the front office operations
Ensures that the office is kept clean and safe and its appliances are in good working order
Oversees ordering of supplies, furniture, appliances and electronics as required, manages petty cash
Ensures timely and appropriate responses to medical record requests
Responds to inquiries from insurance companies, clients, and providers
Using a variety of electronic systems, conducts parts of the clinic’s revenue cycle, including:
Verifies insurance for all patients and obtains precertification and authorizations
Submits accurate, timely, claims for all services provided, to government and commercial payers and to patients for self-pay and co-pay balances
Posts payments
Assists with identifying and working to minimize and resolve problems such as unbilled services, held, error, rejected, and denied claims
Prepares and processes refunds when necessary
Attends meetings and professional development sessions as requested
May work across multiple sites, some travel within NYC may be required
Complies with and enforces program and company policies and procedures
Performs such other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-2 years' relevant experience
Computer proficiency required
Meticulous attention to detail
results oriented
strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and seamlessly as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and creativity
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
knowledge of the standard steps within the revenue cycle management process preferred
Experience at an Article 31 mental health clinic or an understanding of ICD 10 diagnoses, APG, OMH modifiers, and other important components of behavioral health billing, a plus
database/electronic health record experience preferred
