Responsibilities
Inspecting, testing, verifying, and documenting material produced
General housekeeping
General maintenance
Maintain the equipment and validate the processes required to inspect and test produced material
Ensure that all required documentation is accurately recorded and up to date
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Work with metallurgical and technical staff to conduct trials for product and process improvements
Provide data and effectively communicate within their team to identify product defects and quality issues with produced material
Obtain knowledge and understanding of customer expectations and products intended uses to assist in the production of the highest quality product for consumers
Work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays
Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of coatings processes
Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work rotating shifts and scheduled/unscheduled overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Previous experience working as a member of a team
Willingness to cross train
