Finance Associate
Western LNG LLC is seeking a Finance Associate to support the company’s multi-billion-dollar strategic financing. This role focuses on producing detailed financial analyses and models, preparing presentation materials, and engaging with stakeholders to facilitate the fundraising process.

Responsibilities
Design, manage and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, including:
Build and maintain detailed project finance models with:
Debt sculpting and DSCR / LLCR / PLCR analysis
Multiple tranches of payment in waterfall (senior, mezz, equity)
Sensitivity and downside cases (pricing, volumes, capex, opex, timing)
Analyze and diligence key commercial inputs:
Feedgas supply, liquefaction capacity, and offtake terms
EPC capex, construction schedules, contingency, and cost overruns
O&M structures and long-term operating assumptions
Contribute to the drafting of management presentations and materials for the Board of Directors
Act as a key point of contact in managing a multi-billion-dollar financing process:
Partner internally with accounting, legal, regulatory, construction, and operations teams
Support the tracking, scheduling, and prioritizing of external outreach (e.g., lenders, investors, and third-party consultants)
Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of financial systems, procedures, and standardized templates during and following financing processes
Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and special projects as required
Travel is generally limited and primarily local during business hours; occasional out-of-area or overnight travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, private equity investing, or corporate finance
Proficient in financial modeling with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite
Experience preparing materials for senior management
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with careful attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize workload to bring in finished products
Preferred
MBA or CFA designation
Energy and/or infrastructure experience
Proficiency in VBA and/or Python
