The role involves working in the lab, executing project work, and following standard operating procedures while maintaining lab operations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research & development and possibly pilot-scale manufacturing

Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biomedical work using instruments in the lab

Execute technical and cross-functional project work

Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods

Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required

Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business

Required

All candidates should have a bachelor's degree

Bachelor's degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, or closely related fields

Experience / understanding of working in a lab

Strong communication skills

Strong willingness to learn

Preferred

Preference for candidates with hands-on chemistry, wet lab, bio lab or analysis experience

Lab experience

Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus
