Director of Programs
Remerg is an innovative nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. The Program Director is responsible for providing senior leadership for the design, implementation, and growth of reentry-focused programs, ensuring high-quality clinical supervision and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Remerg’s housing program and future reentry initiatives
Deliver clinical supervision and services, including assessments, counseling, and participant support
Oversee program operations, including Medicaid billing, reporting requirements, and budget management
Supervise and support program staff, ensuring quality service delivery, compliance, and adherence to best practices
Collaborate with organizational leadership to develop and refine program policies, procedures, and protocols
Build and maintain strong community partnerships and stakeholder relationships
Contribute to grant development, program evaluation, and outcome measurement
Foster a supportive, accountable, and collaborative office culture; consistent on-site presence is essential
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to lead teams while balancing compassion with accountability
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative leadership team
Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends as needed
Commitment to dignity-centered, participant-focused reentry work
Preferred
Experience in program leadership and/or development, clinical supervision, and social services strongly preferred
Open to candidates at various career stages, including emerging leaders and those seeking a meaningful later-career role
Benefits
$5,000 guaranteed annual bonus, paid per pay period in addition to base salary
This role includes a guaranteed $5,000 annual bonus, which may be used at the employee’s discretion, including toward healthcare or other personal needs
