Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leader in advanced semiconductor technology, seeking a TEM Automation Engineer to develop, optimize, and maintain automated TEM analysis workflows. The engineer will be responsible for tool operation, recipe development, and providing training to peers while improving analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

Developing, optimizing and maintaining recipes for various tools using python, recipe editor or other similar programming tools
Performing basic operation, alignment, calibration and maintenance of the tools involved in fully automated TEM analysis
Providing timely support for recipe troubleshooting
Learning new techniques and provide training to peer engineers/technicians
Identifying new opportunities and lead projects to improve the analytical work in terms of capability, quality, efficiency and cost saving

Required

B.S. and above in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline
2+ years of hands-on experience on at least 2 of the following: AMHS, SEM, FIB, TEM, Metrology
Fluent in python, recipe editor or other programming languages
Previous experience on recipe or software development is a plus
