StevenDouglas is partnering with a manufacturing client in Newnan, GA, that is in search of an Interim Accounting Consultant to support the organization. This position involves performing senior-level accounting activities, including journal entries, month-end close duties, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Perform day to day accounting activities at Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager level
Prepare and post journal entries including fixed asset related entries
Month-end and quarter-end close duties
Analyze and reconcile data from SAP
Provide analytics and operational accounting support as needed
Generate and record invoices related to projects (milestone billing)
Create final invoices when projects close and reconcile them to prior billings
Verify the accuracy of billing within SAP

Qualification

SAP proficiencyAccounting experienceBachelors in AccountingInterim consulting experienceAttention to detail

Required

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of Accounting experience, ideally at Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager level
Ability to work on-site in Newnan, GA (5 days/week)
SAP proficiency required (ability to enter and extract data, navigate, troubleshoot and utilize SAP for journal entries, fixed assets, and invoicing
Prior interim/consulting experience with demonstrated success delivering impact with minimal ramp time
Strong attention to detail; comfortable performing high volume data entry
