This role involves supporting the full design process from ideation through prototyping and production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape physical products through user-centered design.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the concept of development of new products through sketches, storyboards, design research, and design exploration
Create and refine 3D CAD models and assemblies
Produce detailed technical drawings for prototypes and production
Support fabrication and testing of physical prototypes
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and user research teams
Prepare presentations, renders, and visual assets
Conduct competitive research and trend analysis
Participate in design reviews and apply iterative improvements
Support creation and maintenance of design documentation

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field
Strong portfolio showing creativity and design execution
Proficiency with 3D CAD tools
Familiarity with materials and manufacturing processes
Strong sketching and visualization skills
Good communication and collaboration skills
Fusion 360, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite experience
Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles
Experience with prototyping labs or machine shops
Familiarity with project management tools
