Law Practice
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc
Manage client interaction to facilitate communication
Locate and develop relevant case information
Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
Assist team in gathering documents from clients
Answer and direct phone calls
Maintain contact lists
Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
Qualification
Required
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in English and Spanish both verbal and written
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; Adobe Acrobat)
Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Preferred
2-5 years of Immigration caseload experience
Experience in EOIR filings including bond hearings, 42A and 42B cancellation of removal, and asylum
Experience in USCIS filings including family-based cases, waivers, VAWA and U visas, affirmative asylum, DACA, etc
Experience with family-based consular processing cases
