Responsibilities
Perform environmental monitoring of facility
Coordinate personnel bioassay and monitoring program
Coordinate collection, segregation, storage, and disposal of produced waste
Responsible for control and calibration of all dose, count rate and monitoring instrumentation
Prepare necessary routine and non-routine IEMA, DOT and EPA reports
Perform investigations associated with the following:
Product complaints
Corrective and preventative action projects
Product and process improvement projects
Sealed source inventory discrepancies
Personnel or facility contamination incidents
Assist in IEMA facility inspections and required responses
Working knowledge of IEMA license requirements
Understand and follow the established corporate safety standards, local facility operating procedures and safety policies
Follow Quality Systems Regulations and established procedures
Recycling
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
