Responsibilities
Own hands-on manual testing across functional, regression, exploratory, and usability scenarios
Design and maintain test plans and test cases aligned with user stories and acceptance criteria
Test web, mobile, and API functionality using tools such as Postman or Insomnia
Validate backend data using SQL queries
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact
Collaborate daily with Developers, Product Managers, and Designers in an Agile environment
Assess release readiness and communicate risks and tradeoffs clearly
Expand test coverage through automation, scripting, and AI-assisted testing tools over time
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a QA or Quality Engineering role
Strong manual testing expertise with a risk-based mindset
Experience testing APIs and validating backend data
Working knowledge of C# and/or JavaScript for test scripting
Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
A sense of ownership — you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks
Interest in using AI tools to improve testing efficiency and quality
Preferred
Experience working on SaaS products
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
Experience contributing to automated test suites or CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to cross-functional work with Product, Support, or Operations
Strong documentation and written communication skills
Advanced use of AI tools for test generation, analysis, or automation
