Instrument Test Technician
Cynet Systems is seeking an Instrument Test Technician responsible for building, integrating, testing, and supporting moderately complex instruments in a regulated production environment. The role involves functional and release testing, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Build, integrate, and understand the complete assembly process and requirements for instruments in the production area
Perform functional and release testing on at least one moderately complex instrument per defined test instructions
Analyze test results and data to determine pass or fail outcomes and provide solutions for failures
Provide optimization solutions to improve system performance, including precision of movement and light systems, using test data
Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements as required
Read, understand, and apply drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
Train and mentor associates on mechanical and testing activities as needed
Complete production activities in compliance with regulatory requirements and company safety and quality expectations
Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams as required
Execute work in accordance with defined specifications, operating procedures, and company policies
Perform standard material handling for raw materials and sub-assemblies
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment through housekeeping activities including cleaning, sweeping, and organizing
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all client safety and housekeeping policies
Work overtime as required to meet business needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in mechatronics or a related field with zero years of experience, or five years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting
Ability to support testing activities for moderately complex instruments
Strong ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, and measure dimensions accurately
Fundamental knowledge of mechanical tools such as torque drivers, gauges, and bits
Basic proficiency with PCs and Windows-based environments
Experience managing multiple production orders and processes within defined time standards
Experience working within defined quality procedures in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, math, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use independent judgment to plan, perform, and troubleshoot setup, operations, and processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to adapt to frequent assignment changes and shifting priorities
Preferred
Leadership capability with experience mentoring, coaching, and developing associates
Experience supporting Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen, Blitzes, and shift start-up meetings
