Responsibilities
Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client-centric philosophy in mind
Learn the tax process: information gathering, preparation, and completion
Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues
Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
Participate in firm outings and activities as able
Qualification
Required
Active enrollment and a major in Accounting or Finance (Junior standing or above is preferred)
Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
Preferably pursuing the 150-credit hour academic requirement towards CPA eligibility
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
