Senior LevelTekfortune Inc. is seeking a Data Migration Lead to support the ExCAL project for Wave 2, a large transformation initiative. The role involves overseeing the migration process, coordinating with functional analysts and engineers, and ensuring proper validation and communication throughout the project.

Responsibilities
Supporting the ExCAL project for Wave 2, a large transformation project
Part of the internal leadership team that is responsible for overseeing the entire migration process
Coordinating with functional analysts and engineers on daily work
Track auditability and ensure the partner is providing correct validation reports
Point of escalation whenever issues arise, if something fails when trying to load it, migration lead will help with the bug side or direct analyst / engineers where to go
Coordinating migration plan, communicating, and coordinating with PM on loading data, sequence, dates and then tracking and monitoring migration process
20% will be hands on, technical, not doing a lot of code but if need to update extract engine, this person is doing it
Providing plan, executing plan and triaging if something needs to be delayed, communicating impact and course corrections with leaders
Qualification
Required
Technical background must include supporting a data focused project or data management
Must understand and have experience with concepts of data conversion
Experience with documentation, migration plans and reports
Must have lead experience
Understanding of compliance regulations
Experience with data migration tools and techniques
Strong communication skills required - will work with cross-functional teams
